    I will have lights 360 degrees. We have options for the front nailed down, as well as the side. Rear is still a bit of a work in progress.

    I’m thinking of the straight alpha. From all the pics I can see, it looks like last bar is about 8-10” in front of the shark fin. Sure wish it was closer to the fin so anything cantilevered off the back didn’t have such a long moment arm.

    I don’t think I need the full XL, but would consider a homespun ‘add-a-bar’. Two bars attached lengthwise to the last two crossbars, and an add-on crossbar across the back behind the fin. This would be for special use only and not stay on regularly. The farther back the last stock bar, the better.

    Oh, and did the design for the straight alpha change to six mounts instead of four?

    What wind noise?

    In all seriousness, really not bad, you can hear it you’re doing 80 but i can also hear my tires humming and my engine screaming. Most of the noise is going to come from whatever you put on the rack, the rack itself is not too bad
