What does everyone use for their wash setup? I’ve heard good things about Chemical Guys and Adams. Also do you guys use pressure washers/ foam guns?

I use all Adams products with outstanding results. Claybar and sealant twice a year and two bucket wash throughout the year. As for pressure washer, only when it gets caked with mud.

I’ve been using some chemical guys v07 spray detailer between washes and have been really happy with the results. Started with a good base wax of meguiers ultimate paste which has helped also.

I agree, especially since I drive it on dirt roads to and from work every day, and then on weekends for fun when we can.

I owned a chain of auto parts stores for years and a perk was being able to test about every brand of wash/wax/protector on my vehicles. Became a big Meguiar's fan.

A bucket, a rag and car soap. Spray wax of some type every quarter or so.

Mine is usually protected by a good coating of dirt. Rain and puddles give it a rinse. If it gets too bad, I’ll hit it with the pressure washer. Living on gravel it never stays too shiny.

I have a home pressure sprayer, and just off the shelf car wash soap. Bucket and a few clean soft cloths. Then I just towel it off, and use some basic spray detailer when between waxing jobs. Works great, cheap basic stuff, no swirls or scratches by going with the discount stuff...

I use Ice brand car wash & spray wax. I actually just waxed it yesterday. I never use those drive thru car washes either.

Wondering what your general routines are - I've never really paid attention to car washing/detailing with previous cars - just drive through washes and the occasional detail service. I'd like to do better with this one...

    - How often do you do things other than wash (wax, clay bar, etc).
    - Are there benefits to the foam gun over the 2 bucket technique?
    - What are you using to dry?
    - What tire/wheel products and brushes do you use?
