Wanted to see what other folks are doing with Techstream. I did the customary seat belt alarm turn off, TSB update, and have cleared ECU/TCU memory (vehicle will need to learn trims/transmission learning again, takes some driving). I know there's logging capabilities, DTC reading and clearing, PIDS to monitor. Anybody else do anything different with techstream? Below is the version I'm running with instructions. I'm no expert, so can't help much with troubleshooting. I'm using the openport 2.0 tactrix cable that I use for ovtune software.

    http://blog.obdii365.com/2017/12/03/toyota-techstream-12-30-017-download-and-install/

This is exactly what I did. Scroll to techstream 12-20-024 cracked. Download that version and follow the install instructions (exactly as written) a little lower under TS install windows 7, works for other windows versions. Make sure after installed you click setup>select vim>select obd cord you're using. Get that far and should be good.

Nothing really much you can do with a techstream. Now if you have a Mercedes and a multiplexer then you have unlimited modifications at your disposal.

Kind of the vibe I got when clicking around as well. Was hoping for something I missed.

You can program your TPMS sensors if needed. You need the codes, of course.

I had fun doing the compression test. Kind if gimmicky, but it was interesting.

Starting the truck with the TS was neat.

Other than that. The above reasons where why I got it.

Yes it does, but my net book was working hard . The processer needed a bit more RAM, but it did work, but slow.

It still amazed me that the best machine fif running TS, was Windows Vista .

Kryptek Ballistic Tactical seat covers in November during their big sale. Tim at Heavy Metal Off Road going to use my truck as a mule for development/fitment/ design of the long bed version of his EXCELLENT rock sliders! His bed rack, ditch brackets, and bed stiffeners will be going on as well.... Awesome products, fantastic service! He is worthy of your attention!
Can TS be used to dial the cruise control setting down so it will activate at 20mph or 25 mph? I can activate mine at 30 and drop it down to 28 before it shuts off now.

Can it turn of the "open driver door" alarm? I have Carista but it doesn't seem to be able to turn off that alarm.

I used mine to update my ECU calibration to 04b04 for my OV Tune.

Also, will program my Lexus key card sometime this week.

    It doesn't have that option.

Look under key chime. You door only dings when the key is in the ignition.

If I recall correctly, there is 3 settings. You can turn it down to the quietest. They come from the factory set the loudest.

Any idea if it can be used to change the default S mode gear from 4th to say 5th or 6th?
