Things I've added since I bought the Taco a few weeks ago:

    1. Huskey Liner floor mats (lots of mud here)
    2. In channel vent visors
    3. Low profile UWS chrome toolbox

I need to change the tires out for BFG All Terrain k/o's when i have time to do it.

I played with the e-locker this weekend... that thing is cool!!!

I need to change out my tires too but i just cant stand to get rid of a set of perfectly good tires. I'll probably wait till they are worn down pretty far before i replace them. I dont know if i wanna go with All terrains or Mud terrains. I probably dont need the mud terrains but i want them, i just dont know if i wanna deal with the noise

i've run several different brands of tires on my 4Runner and without a doubt, the BFG AT's were the best wearing and most useable on & off road.

Goodyear Wranglers - stocke & they sucked
Goodyear MTR's - really sucked as far as longevity anyway
BFG Mud Terrains - great tire but you MUST rotate evey 5-10k.. i didnt :(
Dunlop GeoLanders (i think that was the name) - Goodyear sucked
BFG AT's (2 sets) - best tires ever!

Whats the longest you can expect mud terrains last on average?

with regular rotation, i'd say easily 40-50k miles...
    maybe more.

I didnt rotate and they lasted me about 40k before my front tires had bald spots.. the rears were ok but worn.

thats not really bad at all. I use to get 50k tires on my beamer and i was lucky if they lasted 30k. although i never rotated them and never took a turn under 65mph. thats really not bad at all. how long do you go all your AT's?

i like to swap AT's out at about 50k.. or when they start sliding around on the pavement when it rains... i'm sure they could go longer but i dont wanna chance sliding into an accident.

only 3200 of the all black TRD special edition FJ's were made... all are sold now but they do come up for sale on ebay every now and then.

However, there is talk of an all white FJ special edition for the 008 model year which will be painted Iceburg White... no further details at this time though.

Here is some details on the all black TRD SE's for 2006

I'm really starting to wish i got the one i saw on the lot when i was looking at the Taco, i just can't justify a purely off-road vehicle. Of course i guess it's not just for off-road, it can also be used to reel in the ladies ;) too bad your married FJ, you're wasting the trucks built in boobie magnet:)

None currently, but I would like a better sounding exhaust and perhaps a cold air pack and some color coded step bars
    Thats one sharp looking truck.

A stable of mighty fine Toyotas. Between my wife and I, there's been the 95Tercel, 00 Avalon, 04 Corolla, 04 Highlander(one of my faves), and finally (MY FAVORITE) the 02 tacoma. Yeah, I'm a bit of a slut myself.
