You had a locker on in 4x4 at 80mph???
How are you even going that fast in 4x4...Trophy trucks don’t even use 4x4, let alone a locker at those speeds

If he has an arb locker, why would he need to be in 4wd?

He could turn it on whenever he felt like…

Agreed, I was wondering more about 80mph in 4x4

    o_O

4x4 starts to feel odd and sound weird at 50mph

Haven't tried this yet but do you guys think I can connect flash manager to my honda pilot to read and clear trouble codes?

    Thank you TW!
Been a longggg week with work, but with everyone's help and posts, I used my one night off to use techstream and update to 04b04, and have finally flashed to 1.05 87 performance.

I know theres a lot of people complaining about the tip in, but I'm so used to driving aggressive throttle vehicles, I'm sure it wont be a problem. I have a fishing trip on Tuesday and I'm gonna put this tune to the test. Cant wait!

Currently idling it off, and enjoying a very satisfying/delicious Budweiser :)

Thanks again guys, and especially Mat!

Yes, same here. I believe it has been said that this can't be removed because the truck uses the same tables to upshift as it does to downshift, but that may be wrong; someone please correct me if so!

Tested it this morning on my way to work. First time it didn’t do it (maybe because it was WOT). Then when I was taking it a little easier it did it around 62-64mph. It’s like it upshifts and goes to turtle mode lol.

Haven't felt it on 87P, I did feel that on 93P though, freaky feeling
when you're pulling onto a busy highway in rush hour.

    Hello. Mat
Not to long ago you had discovered an open throttle plate with no fuel above 3000rpm,this should indicate extra engine braking.
I would like to suggest if you can get control of the throttle plate,to put the engine in default idle state in deceleration eliminating the DFCO.
The engine braking should still be there dew to the the throttle plate being closed. This will reduce the clunking that Mt and At trucks are experiencing.this should also make for a smoother more agressive tip in, as the engine is not completely dead or in DFCO state.this I beleave will bring this truck as close as possible to that throttle by cable feel!.

As for guys looking for more engine braking, you can incorperate both DFCO and a closed throttle plate?

DFCO is an extremely difficult thing on this engine due to how toyota designed the code.

Anyways, for everyone ... I will be unavailable by the forum for a while. We are focusing on cleaning up all tickets before moving into new development and to catch up some back logged stuff. (4.88s, etc). So I won't be available by forum or forum PM.

This is AWESOME news Mat, thanks a million! I assume that this rewrite will get rid of the lugging we're still getting when accelerating at low speed around corners - the "dead pedal" feel in that particular RPM band at low speeds?

I just want to say that the amount of hard work you're pouring into making this truck live up to its potential is GREATLY appreciated!!

Anyone using the Shiftsense with OVtune? Thinking about trying it until 1.06 release.
