I think I'm gonna go that route...

I may draw up some shock tower designs in Fusion360 instead of using the Ford Towers...I'm not liking that design too much.

Yeah they are still flimsy stamped like 14ga. or something like that. Me and your buddy could build them I've got some 1/4" plate we can make them out of.

is bed removal necessary for 63s and shock towers or just for the frame reinforcement ?

It made everything wayyyyy easier. Could be done with bed on but it’s worth the effort to remove it.

Not necessary but highly recommended. Me and Chris had mine off in like 30-45 min. If you don't do the AG relocation then it's a lot easier. They just require location to the wheel well and makes lifting the bed over them a little difficult. But me and Chris did it by ourselves and I wouldn't say it's a huge pita but a little more cumbersome

Did a couple little mods today. @Casper66 gave me this KB tailgate cap well it didn't have the foam so I got some and added it now it's nice and tight. Also installed TRD Intake not quite fitting just right and have to add a nipple to it for vacuum ref. for the fuel pressure reg. No biggie just have to fiddle with it maybe get a new coupler that is longer. For getting it at less than half off second hand I'll deal.

I didn't say you were installing it :boink:

Probably install it solo and get an alignment next week, since my buddy runs a garage and they have an alignment machine.

I may just go there off hours and do it myself.

I'm still using the stock UCA's for now, so I'll be limited on the caster that can be pulled out of the stock junk.
