What a dumb post. CA has zero to do with the price of gas in Minnesota. And the price of gas has gone up there (and everywhere) because the price/barrel of oil has gone way up recently.

I love the landscape and food in Cali. It was a great place to grow up. Now, not so much.

Not true. Cali can't refine enough gas on it's own so it must outsource it to other states. Cali also requires stricter emissions which comes from summer/winter blends of gas. When refineries in other states must shut down and reconfigure for Cali's own blend of gas, it effects the rest of the nation. Some places more than others.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVED growing up in San Diego and Dana Point. I miss the food and the landscape (rock climbing in Joshua Tree, 4 wheelin' outside Barstow and deep sea fishing out of Dana Point) but the cost of living and politics have made it a less desirable place to raise a family.
I apologize for sending this thread down this path though.

I'm running the MBRP black dual exhaust (dual out of the muffler) and I'm quite happy with it.

 

I have been trying for a long time to find an aftermarket grill option that I could be confident wouldn't interfere with TSS but the ones I liked didn't seem to have the TSS thing really worked out yet. That being the case, I finally broke down and bought a pro grill. I wanted to be different, but it really does look great. Chinese grill, OEM garnish plate, Amazon lights.

 

Glad to see it worked out for you, besides the condenser mishap.

 

A few to list:
Hat Creek, Fall River, McCloud River, E.Walker, Upper Sac, Truckee River, Manzanita Lake, Baum Lake. I would personally include the Trinity, Klamath and Smith Rivers. The Pacific Ocean is a nice sized fishing hole (though not for trout).
My house in Montana is within an 1 ½ hours from Madison, Jefferson, Missouri, Gallatin, Beaverhead, Yellowstone, Smith and Big Hole and many more so it beats CA but Ca is pretty good.

 

Traded in my chrome tail lights for the black ones and now my rear end is officially blacked

 

maybe take the stiffeners off lay the rug and re install the stiffeners. that way the rug sits flat.

I tried it out there for awhile, (early 1980's) Cousin owned Everett's Service Center in Wilmington, CA. and I worked for him about a year. I lived with him in Carson, CA.

Found out kalifornia was not the place for me. You can take the boy out of the country but you CANNOT take the country out of the boy.

 

You don't see to many trucks on here that have the folding bed step. I love mine.
