You have them set up the way that Archive designed them to be ran. @Supra4x4 rotated his up so they aren't hanging down. I'll be doing something similar when mine goes on next weekend. I'll be sure to post pics because I'll be deviating a fair amount from the std. installation.

The thing is companies design stuff like this do some R&D on what they see is how it should work well for most. Then make a set of std installation instructions. But when you go and modify your truck and start doing more custom stuff like this you can always deviate from the norm and go what will best work for you. I wouldn't reccomend that though unless you really have some experience or whoever is installing does. Otherwise the way you have it set up will still be great.

There are different shock dimensions and options per manufacturer.
Why dont you contact me directly? It seems like you have not flexed your truck out, jacked it up or got out a tape measure to figure out if its right.
I think your installer set it up correctly.
In my mind, there is only 1 right way, which is set the axle tab at full bump while articulating (or full bump non-articulated but leave 1" extra on shock shaft).

Your axle tabs aren't any lower than stock.

I saw you were on Vacation and didn't want to bother you with this. Did not flex it out yet due to limited space where I live. Possibly can do that tomorrow if a friend of mine lets me do it at his shop.

I did earlier last week get measurements from the alignment shop but again missed the opportunity to be there physically when it was on the lift so not confident on what they wrote down.

Firstly, @mightym has a U-bolt flip whereas I do not yet so we probably aren't far off. Secondly the way myself and my friend whom did my install positioned the lower mount was as @ARCHIVE said above, by measuring distance to the bump under articulation and vertical compression. Matching that distance at ride height and leaving half and inch for bump travel, we tacked the lower mount into place and then flexed it out to make sure everything still cleared.

Exactly but if you read back through he also states that the flat portion of the lower mount is designed to be parallel to the ground as @mightym has it. My set up will be way different since I am going with 63s and some other little custom modifications to this kit. So it'll be pretty far from the way he said to set up.

The bottom of axle tab being close to horizontal is accurate for 2.5x12 only, a normal 2.5x14" is 3" longer compressed and that's when the axle tab gets rotated down to where it is on MightyM's truck

I also have a welded lower rod end that I spec'd out on my bypasses, which shortens up the compressed length and over all length of the shaft, this allows me to be a little clever with the up travel. Normal rod ends are about an inch longer.

Hey @ARCHIVE I tried sending you a message but it didnt work.

I have Icon RXTs leaf pack on option 2. Are the shock relocate towers 2.5 x 14in compatible with this Leaf Pack SOA?

    Thanks @Supra4x4 for answering already.

To be explicit for any readers, the relocation fits any spring, ANY spring, from stock springs to spring under to Chevy 64".

The adjustment for 12 or 14" comes from the axle tab. Most spring over springs are a good fit with 2.5x12, but stock springs are around 10" travel due to low arch

Does anyone have measurements on how long their reservoir hoses are? I want to make sure I get the right length. Looking for measurements from a smooth body shock. Thanks!

Std Fox hose is 16" (~18" between shock and res)
Std King IIRC is 14" (~16" between shock and res)

Whatever the stock length is for king I would get a little longer and maybe a 90 fitting at the resi. depending how you wanted to mount them. I did mine this weekend and wish I had gotten longer hoses. Now my truck is different as my Towers are 1" higher up than normal because I have a body lift. But even if I didn't I would want them longer so that there is more play in the hose and ability to mount better.

No, we don't tack nuts on this kit, you can reach nut with a wrench. Sorry they arrived late
