Man you're right there by Green Ridge. Very nice. And i've had something similar happen a couple times, you did the right thing. Worst thing that happens is he hits you. His fault not yours

 

how is the range up at greenridge? last id heard it was just a huge mess and always packed, so i had avoided it.

 

I usually keep my calm but when he pulled up beside me and attempted to push me over into oncoming traffic that's what pissed me off. Yea I can take the dirt/gravel/muddy mountain roads into Paw Paw then head north into GR. Buchanan State Forest isnt too far either. Wife & I explored there last year on foot and with my Landcruiser.

 

You started something up on the mountain. You know after I shot your sub2k i Immediately bought one. My buddy shot mine then he ran down to Berkeley Springs gun shop and bought one the same day. His buddy was up this weekend and shot his sub2k now he's buying one.

 

If you go rite before hunting season it gets pretty busy with people dialing their sites in. Other than that ive never really had a problem or experienced over crowding. A couple times ive been there, we were the only ones there!

 

Good to know. Never been to Green Ridge but i'm plannin to go up there some time in the next couple weeks to explore/ camp. I'll be sure to bring the ole boom sticks when I go

Man, you guys are killing me. I JUST started looking at land and cabins up in West Virginia as a getaway from Maryland haha. All these posts are making me itch for it more and more.

Where are some good spots? I’m looking for cheap (obviously), with land to do whatever I want, near hiking, snowboarding, kayaking, etc.

I’m thinking 5-10+ acres, enough to explore with my dog

 

We shot for almost three hours.

2 of those hours we were completely alone.

It all depends on when you go. Its actually decent for what it is. But you have to bring your own targets.

Yes, it is a little messy, but not bad.

Not sure what your looking for but there's a A frame cabin for sale on 5 acres up the road from me. Hes also selling the 5acres next to it separately. Asking price for the cabin $52k but the seller told me to make a offer. He lives in Delaware and his wife's health is declining so they can no longer use it. It's all unrestricted land, ride atvs, shoot ect... This pic was taken in front of it.
