Anyone have pictures of rear facing in an access cab? Still trying to find a double cab to trade that I can afford that doesn't have crazy high mileage.

What model of recaro baby seat is this?! I am looking for a low profile seat that doesn't interfere much when center rear. I work at a courthouse and my police department guys all say center rear is the safest mounting location.

Unfortunately, Recaro no longer provides child seats to the US market. :(

I think I might go with a Britax Infant seat and then once it is big enough to move on Maybe the Clek. I am trying to figure out a way to only need to buy 2 seats. Maybe like an infant-1ish and a 1ish-whenever they don't need them anymore. I have until December to figure it out! Our due date is actually Christmas day.
Whatever system I go with I want to get it right the first time because we are planning on having multiple kids.

We started off the Nuna Pipa infant car seats and now own the Clek foonf and Clek fllo.

If I could do it over again, I would have gone with the Clek car seats + infant insert, from the get go.

Between the Fllo and Foonf...I like the Fllo.

Also, if you guys regularly drive 2 vehicles....you will want a car seat for each vehicle.

Do you think the Cleck Foonf or Fllo with infant insert will fit in the Double cab Tacoma pretty good? Maybe even in the middle?

They fit decent, but requires the front seat to be pushed forward a bit. This was the case for every rear facing car seat we tried (Britax Marathon, Nuna pipa, and Clek).

It's not too bad as long as your passenger is short....I'd say 5'8" or less? For this reason, I don't think a rear facing car seat would work well in the middle. Once you go forward facing, it shouldn't be an issue. Right now, my wife sits in the back with the kiddo most of the time so the front seat being pushed up is not an issue at all.

Perfect, My wife is 5'7 so hopefully that is fine. If she drives though I am 6ft so I wonder.

Just skip the convertible crap. Keep them in the infant seat as long as possible and then go forward facing. We went from our B-Agile straight to Recaro Performance Sport (forward facing) seats. Then graduated to Clek Oobrs.

My first born will soon be a 1 year old and will be transferring from his infant seat to a toddler seat. My wife is pretty dead set on getting the Graco Extend2Fit. Once she gets something in her head, she's pretty hard to change her mind, even if another option is obviously better. My question is concerning leg room. I am 6'1", but my wife is short, 5'1". But I am still concerned about leg room with the new seat. Does anyone else have the Graco Extend2Fit? Or do you have any recommendations for car seats that will maximize leg room?

I'm also considering the Graco 4Ever, and the Radian 3RX.

I know a lot of people that move their toddlers from RF to FF seats between 18-24 month. Articles like the one below, makes me think twice. My daughter is 18 months now. We will probably keep her rear facing until the age of 3. She was a bit cramped in her infant seat (Nuna Pipa) at around 14 - 15 months.

For our 34lb 16MO We have the graco 4-ever rear facing behind the drivers seat in the Venza and a Chicco nextfit rear facing behind the passenger seat of the Taco. I can drive the Venza comfortably at 6’1” but my 5’11” wife is cramped in the Taco in front of the Nextfit. Our 3YO is front facing in a radian in the middle seat of the Tacoma and in a rainier in the passenger side of the Venza. When the younger one goes front facing, we will swap seats so both diono are in the Taco; middle and passenger.

I'm in a similar situation, due 14 December with our first...my thought process is following a similar pattern, but am appreciating the insight and photos provided throughout this thread!
