    Hello everyone,

Newbie here trying to buy my first taco. There is a black one for sale at 47k (close to the MSRP). Just wondering if that is a fair price or are people seeing it lower else where?

    thanks,

Depending on where you are, some people are seeing more than MSRP. Dealers are calling it a "Market Adjustment".

I would check TrueCar to get a rough idea of what people are paying for a Pro in your area.

My dealer has a $12,000 market adjustment sticker on their Pro vehicles. lol. I asked if they could install that market adjustment on my TRD Sport along with the $200 nitrogen in the tires and the $400 UV clear film they also listed on the pack sticker. We all just laughed. There's an ass for every seat.

Average price for a car today is $37,000 so 10k more for a pro truck is about right imo.

47k is good for a 2019 Pro but that is still a lot of money. I paid 44k for my 2018 and that was 1,000 below MSRP. I personally would look for a 2018 if you can still find them just because of the cheaper price.

Anything under MSRP is a good price. Don't ever pay any markup.

I way overpaid for my truck, but I got what I wanted and I still enjoy driving it. Worth it in my opinion.

I have a deposit on a 2020, agreed on no more than MSRP. They ran a locator just to see what was out there, plenty of both 18 and 19's out there available. To each his own but I am waiting for a 20.

Not sure where you're located but Santa Margarita Toyota in OC,CA has some Pros at or under MSRP. There's a white one that's 1k under. Brand new.

They're all one price no haggle dealership but you can still mention me.

It just depends on your area. If they are advertising it for MSRP, doesnt mean you have to pay that price. Mine was $48,450 MSRP and i bought it for $45,500.
Just depends on your negotiating skills and the market in the area. For me, they had the truck on the lot for a awhile (over 45 days) and there are a ton for sale in my area.

    Team Taco,

Need to know if this is a good price. Looking at a Voodoo Blue TRD Pro overseas in Germany. It’s beautiful wife is happy with it. The price is 45852 but have to pay 2077 for transportation charge since it came from the states for a total OTD price of 47929. Is that a good deal? I usually negotiate but here overseas with the Military Auto Source there isn’t any apparently. They have a owners protection plan in it for 1985 that is basically an extended warranty. Please advise!

    V/R,
    Goose

TRD PRO in southern Los Angeles was $48k plus a $15k markup!!! Insane. Got em down to $52k but Jesus.... I still love the truck though. Went from a Porsche Macan S lease to purchasing the PRO. Sure it’s completely different but maintenance in the long run was the reason I made my decision plus I need to lug around more camera equipment.

Wouldn't pay a dollar over MSRP if possible. I got an '18 Pro in November and paid just under MSRP.

I just gave them $1000, you really don't order one per say, when they can order from the allotment the dealer will get your truck ordered and shipped. You won't have to deal with all the port and dealer added accessories either.

You shouldn't have to pay more than $45k for a Pro.

Got my 17 PRO 6MT for MSRP. I was I believe the first on this site to own one.

Had to go out of state.

    91,000 miles on it.

Was hoping to trade for a new Tundra - but no news yet. Will be trading it for 2020 6MT Pro with Snorkel. Same dealer, MSRP. I have bought 4 3rd gen taco from same dealer.
