Yea, that's why I jumped on my cabin because i liked the layout of the property. Not much else for sale up there right now except some empty lots.

I’d have to sell the outside bathroom to the girlfriend lol. I’m good with my hands and I’m not scared of DIY renovating but I’d prefer to already have septic. I know the girlfriend would definitely push back on an outhouse haha

If you wanna take a ride Saturday come up. I'll show you some lots for sale by owner. No cabin on them but you could put a camper or build something on the land.

Put a composting toilet in the bathroom. Yea my wife is the same. That's why I bought my cabin fully equipped, even has central air.

    Ah. thats good to know.

i meant "mess" more in the since that it was always overcrowded, but it seems that i got some bad info. whats the max height for targets? i saw the minimum was 4', but where do the berms cap out at?

I’ll talk to her. I’m looking on the map though and I think being closer to snowboarding is probably the biggest thing for us. Followed up by septic lmao

I've had a composting toilet before. They don't do good with a lot of liquid.

    Yesterday was interesting...

My best friend has been bugging me to take him shooting, so we decided to make a day of it and bring our girlfriends as well. We loaded all up and headed to Green Ridge at 10AM. We made it about a quarter mile outside of the Cumberland City limits when Chris' valve cover gasket on the driver's side of his 98 4Runner (it has 246k on it, so no shame for it) decided to start puking a stream of hot oil directly onto the alternator. We noticed the smoke as we pulled into the gas station to top off before leaving town. Feeling defeated, we rinsed the oil out of the alternator with a bunch of bottles of water and decided to limp it back to his house.

Fortunately, last year, I sold Chris' mom my mom's gently used 2014 SR5 Premium 4Runner. She let him borrow it for the day so we could still do a little exploration. We got down there, signed up for the range for the day and drove around a little while we waited for 12-noon (when the range officially opens on Sundays). We got to the range and did our shooting and were virtually unbothered for the 3hrs we were there. We shot rimfire and pistols only. We would have shot some more, but we let time get away from us and then people started rolling in and were shooting centerfire rifles.

So we went to one of the overlooks and had a little lunch pick-nick. After that, a little more dusty road exploration, looking at campsites, and finding many road closures, finally we went back home.

A great start to the season!
