I've got an appointment Friday the 29th for this "vibration under braking" issue. I'm not confident that my issue will be solved in one visit; mainly because my truck is a 2019 and the TSB is for 2017-2018 vehicles (T-SB-0023-18). I'll update once I have any news.

What vibration are you guys having? I just picked up a 2019 and having a weird vibration that is mostly felt at low rpm in 6th gear. Wondering if it’s a driveshaft issue as well.

Just found out my “vibe” while breaking is my out of round rear drums. Are you sure it’s the driveshaft?

Well, I have not taken it to the dealer, because on the 2018 TRD 4x4 Sport they did nothing and it was bad. Said it was normal. So I traded in the Sport for the PRO and it just barely does in on deceleration 30 to 20mph but not brakes. I have noticed that when I put in about 1200 lbs of dirt in the back it does not vibrate. So that tells me it is driveshaft angle. Because then the center of the truck is lower closer to the level of the axle. So I have purchased the shims to drop the center bearing and see what that does after I take it in to the dealer and they do nothing again.

You put 1200lbs of dirt in the back on stock leafs? That's pushing it even with and HD leaf pack

Look up the capacities. Toyota says 1155 for the PRO. I put in less than 1200. That was just a nice round number. A yard of dirt is 2000lbs. I put in 1/2 yard exactly. So maybe 1000 lbs which is under the max.

That’s including passengers and everything attached to the truck (gear)

Also, some dirt weighs more than others depending on its composition. Dry vs wet, sand vs soil, clay vs iron based

subed to get off dirt and see what happens with this. 19 DCLB TRD Sport with the same issues.

the driveline angle is a good theory that supports the amplifications of the if the u joint vibes under braking (twisting the springs and causing the angles to get worse) and the harmonics heard all the way up.

It'll still need the working angles set up.

-1-piece non-CV requires transfer case and pinion angles be equal
-1-piece CV requires the pinion working angle be zero
-2-piece CV requires transfer case and pinion angle be equal

    We have a 2-piece non-CV.
It requires the transfer case angle be zero and the center and pinion to be equal.
An alternate method is to zero the center and equalize the transfer case and pinion angles; essentially mimicking a 1-piece non-CV.

I'd go with the 2-piece CV.

Stop with the dirty talk, the weight is fine. I drove 3 miles getting dirt for my garden. My point was that the dirt lowered the bed and the angle of the driveshaft alleviating the vibration. So that may be my problem not something else.

I was looking at this one. I think it would be a good one to try.

**Update #1: My appointment went well this morning. The dealership offered to execute the 2017-2018 TSB (T-SB-0023-18) against my 2019. They are ordering the parts today. --- More info when I get it.

I am following your progress closely. My brand new TRD off road has a vibration between 14 and 27 mph. It has been to the dealer twice, it has under 800 miles, they have "road balanced" the tires and replaced one of them. The vibration continues. I was told there was nothing else to be done as the service manager drove two new trucks, like mine that were on the lot. He states that they both had the same vibration so it is "just a characteristic" of the truck. It vibrates so bad the my loose change in the console rattles like a bell. This is a lease truck. I turned a 2014 TRD Sport in to get this one. Aside from and engine rattle (sounded like no oil pressure) once that truck was just right. It is hard to believe that Toyota has not taken every possible step to correct this problem. Quality is what took me to the Toyota dealer in the first place.

Loading your truck and loosing the vibration makes sense to me. Could very well be drive line angle problems. Makes me want to put a load in mine to see if it changes.

Please keep us up dated on your progress.

    Tks
