Actually the Archive Ubolt flip with pedastal welded to plate also prevents bottoming out aftermarket shocks because of the height of pedastal limits bump travel about 1". So it helps for shocks that are about 15.5"+ compressed. Thicker Leaf packs also prevents bottoming shock.

My shocks compressed will be at about 14.7". I'm installing a set of Icon RXT leafs on option one in a week or two. Which Archive flip kit and bump/pedestal option # do you recommend for this setup?

Can anyone recommend where to get some extended brake lines? I got the @AccuTune Offroad stage 4 fox kit, but it doesn't come with brake line extensions which i would guess is fine, or they would have, but I also like to be safe and I may go higher in the future.

They told me to keep the factory brake lines and use a extension on the mount.
I have the same kit. Fox stage 4.

Installed this pack on my taco to go with my King EXT rears . I went with option 2 and just came back from Anza Borrego. Had the bed loaded up with a RTT, bed rack, hi-lift jack and probably around another 100 lbs of gear. Worked amazingly. No sag.

Question for you guys, where do you mount the small brackets that hold up part of the parking brake lines? They originally mount to the stock leafs.

I drilled and tapped the leaf spring clamp. I then used the OEM bolt and bent the guide so it was straight.

I tried using that location but the bolt wouldn't fit through it.

Also, for my piece of mind and since the directions didn't really specify what direction to mount the leaf pack. Is it two shackle side towards the front or two shackle side towards the rear?Screen Shot 2019-03-25 at 12.02.43 PM.jpg

I just cut the e brake guide off recently, seemed unnecessary really. I think it was a limiting factor when i cycled the suspension and didnt seem like it would catch anything without the guide.

If you installed them the wrong way, you'd know because your axle would be off. Should be the same/similar spring eye-center pin measurement as stock. I also pulled the bolt from mine because it was gouging the gas tank. Mine has 2 spring clamps to the front though.

yeah so does mine. I read the directions like 20 times looking for where it talked about the orientation. Also didn't mention what directions to install the extra leaf when doing option 2. I noticed one side of that leaf was longer than the other.

Hmm, interesting. I don't remember myself, I just tried to install it where it seemed they would best line up. Generally the leaf springs have a long side and a short side, and if you flip them, the axle is way out of position, which should tell you when you goof up. Too bad about the instructions, kind of odd...

Typically the side with full military wrap will go to the side without the shackle.

eta: For a rear leaf spring this is almost always towards the front.

^^^ Similar to this guy, I just cut my drivers side guide off - no issues. Passenger side was easier to relocate.

Installed my rxt leaf pack as option one. My right rear is sitting at around 25 inches but my left rear is 23 3/8. Both leafs seated and appear to be the same. I’ve heard of taco lean but this seems excessive as a mo fo. I will loosen the the shackle bolts and front leaf bolt and will try to settle and retorque while on the ground. Any suggestions?
