you wanting weld on or bolt on sliders? Trail gear makes some good sliders and usually you wont have to wait a few weeks to get a set. not sure who to go with for sliders on a 1st gen taco though

Habging out in the garage working on the focus. Cleaned idle air control valve. Cleaned throttle body. Hoping the idle drop/stall goes away. Waiting for it all to completely dry up and then testing it. If not then I will have to search for a vacuum leak

My wife’s car had a similar issue and it ended up being the rubber boot between the air filter/MAF and the intake (cooler cause turbo). Replaced boot and all has been golden!

That boot looked like Swiss cheese though, couldn’t tell until I pulled it off and started flexing it though.

Ban away, my son went too and he has his drivers permit and got about 150 miles of off roading in. Went to Evening Star mine and the lava tubes, pretty cool stuff.
And WOW MY KINGS ROCK. What an amazing difference going slow and then taking trails at 50mph, thanks guys for your help installing them :thumbsup:3E03EB19-8B70-407D-B4E6-DFF3B0ED84A9.jpg0CD430B8-B9A2-4F4D-81B6-7545063A2104.jpg6078506C-5066-46AE-A252-A9904BF9F221.jpgB9513E13-5079-4B17-AB82-8023CEE60722.jpg42CC2F00-72AD-4A85-90EA-61EE3CCC31F7.jpg6C8C3904-826A-49F3-AA6F-3270C6F69B91.jpg

    ***Random post alert***

So.... Looks like going forward I'm probably going to need to set up some sort of tax shelter.

Ok... So... Does anyone have any comment as to the feasibility of making a race truck a tax shelter

I'm only about 22% joking about this.

I'll carefully (and briefly) elaborate on why Texas and not Nevada.

I would prefer Nevada over Texas because I could still be close to the Sierra's... And let's face it... Texas doesn't really have shit to wheel, and their hunting season/zone set up is whack compared to what I have here (no real public land and can't hunt bear for starters)

But the winds of certain aspects of Nevada (particularly in Carson City) are blowing in a problematic direction.

    In other news...

Considering I painted the grill with a couple cans of Dupli-color from O'Reilly's... I think it matches pretty good

Refrigerator ordered. Ended up going with the 65w 60L single zone. REI kind of made up my mind for me, since they sold out of the smaller one.

Did you get a good deal with the 20% and your dividends applied?

A little over $500 with the cover added. $75 for shipping and no option to ship to a store which was kind of a bummer.

@foxrcing07 the deal hunter gave me the idea. I had no idea that they carried refrigerators or that you could use their coupon on them since lots of expensive stuff is typically excluded.
