1st thing is to throw out the original power cord and put your own 20 footer.

I think you'll like it. I haven't welded on the 256 but have tried my friends Lincoln 260. Very nice.

Please sit down and read the owners manual .

So often I have customers bring in machines for doing what they should just different then they are used to .

I am not sure why you would not want to keep a extra cylinder of that size .

Is it a outright purchase or a long term lease written into the sale price ??

You mean to say your still throwing cylinders up on the back of the welders??

It is so easy to make a ramp that allows you to roll them up quite easy most anything in front of the rear wheels will keep things from rolling away

The 300 cuft are then a breeze

Craig, he is one of the few here that can benefit from having an extra tank. He is sending shit out the door all the time.

For the average person, an extra tank really won't gain you much.

Assuming you’re responding to my post, the only thought I had in my mind about selling the extra bottle was to make extra money back and make the welder feel like I bought it for even cheaper. I will definitely be selling the hood since I already have the same one but I’m leaning more towards keeping the bottle since it’s such a good deal. It’s an outright purchase so it definitely sweetens the deal and makes the whole package a great deal

To each there own perhaps a habit from being in business .Maybe knowing I was looking at a 3 hour one way to get things like this

Nothing like running out of gas on a long weekend after you get interrupted leave the tank open now because of working it might be 2 weeks not like the old days when you could call the owner 24/7 and get what you wanted

Haha yeah I have a place close by that’s a 15 minute drive max so maybe that’s why I was considering selling it since I don’t have to go far to get it

Got 3 stick plate test done in like 3 hours lol. Pretty happy about that. They gotta bend em tomorrow but I didn’t see any slag or pockets that could give me an issue so I’m pretty confident with that.

Gotta go back tomorrow for the flux core test

Tubbed a firewall today for someone, and this was my first time working with thin sheet metal (22 gauge). Gives me a whole new respect for guys who do body work. Fuuuuck this thin stuff. Doesn't help I was using 035 wire.....

So. Had a brain fart during the root of 4G FCAW and couldn’t get the weld to stick.

Took a break. Grinded the shit out of it and remembered how to make it slick. HOPING I grinded enough and turned it up enough to make a solid weld.

Should know tonight or tomorrow morning.

It was a open root and back grind test. So I think I may have got it but won’t know till they bend em
