    So after 5 years I’ve finally decided to do the tundra brake upgrade parts should be here this week .Since putting on the 285s I’ve noticed my brakes wearing out quicker and it takes a longer stopping distance with these heavy ass tires

    the ones on the north side of 68 were fine, anything around fifteen mile creek.

    the south end, is s different story. I went and checked maniford road, looks very deep and looks like people have not been going through it. I presume lower town creek is the same. The banks have been pushed back and the water tables have changed. We had a rough year last year and it was a tough winter too.

    Property taxes are higher in Pa compared to WV. I looked for a cabin in Pa before buying in WV.

    I know this sounds stupid but I am hoping for deeper water - like we had last April there. Not too deep but enough to keep it mildly interesting. The water crossing in August, despite all of the rain, were disappointing.

    what i saw yesterday was fast moving and made me turn around. I've been living here most of my life and have been through these crossings quite a bit. So if you've got the stones and you think your insurance will cover it, looks like you could be getting more than what you are asking for...

    Back in 2017 i bought my fully equipped, secluded & furnished cabin with 11 acres for $95k. I didn't want to pay that much but all the property is flat enough to be used for hiking & atvs. Other cabins I looked at in the mountains the acreage wasn't useable because of the slope. I figured why have land if you cant walk or ride it.

    I don't want anything dangerous just something more than splash - splash. I think last April one of the crossings was just below the top of my front fender well. When I drove through it the bow wave came partially over my hood.

    when they get to being headlight and over the hood height is when you have to worry about being pushed by the current. @greengen1 remembers the time he and I went through and both of us got pushed about 4-6ft from right to left as we crossed. So please don't go alone lol.

    i'm only 25-30 minutes away lol

    planning on ordering oem gaskets, getting new spark plugs, cleaning the air filter and throttle body, and doing an oil change all at once.

    Oh no - I was with a group. Definitely would not cross unknown waters if I was out alone.
    Actually I think the only reason it was so deep for me was a took a slightly differrnt line crossing the water and I found a hole.

    i believe i know that one you speak of. Its on the north side and if i go in that hole, the water is always over my hood.
