I finally got a hold of a camper shell on the cheap. Now I just need to color match it and idk if I should wrap it or paint it.

Nice! I would say paint it. I don't think painting a shell costs much.

A few variations to the tailgate protection. Some more expensive than others, but all great solutions. Even the hose clamp idea has merit.

Picked up my tailgate from the body shop, salt was killing the seam underneath. Went the less expensive route so I didn’t have buy the expensive barcelona red paint. Pic of the seam isn’t great but you can see it looks way better then the rust! F841DC7A-2BDB-48DD-921A-A127799FB4CF.jpg 182B9EBE-EC7A-4053-8EB5-7A0441052775.jpg

I had my old shell painted for $200. Not bad at all and it came out really nice.

How long ago was that? There is a clear coat mishap on the driver side. So I know they are gonna have to sand it down before.

Yeah but you gotta spend all that contractor money somewhere :D. I came for the MOLLE pouches and attachments for my roof/driver/passenger/and rear seat panels going in this week
