Few mins per side under broil was just right! Super juicy, just right spice that even the 4 year old polished off a whole wing

I made a half batch of Sopapillas. They turned out decent. I was a little perplexed since I cut the original recipe down to a 1/2 batch that the water content needed to be more! I didnt want to make a bunch but still ended up with a good amount for approximately 2 cups of flour.

Exactly! The sad thing is ive only been to a couple places that actually did them right. We went to a Mexican place last week, it was geared more for tourists but it wasnt horrible still a 3 out of 5 stars. The sopapillas were "off" somehow...they looked ok, just the dough was either old or overworked/not rested. My wife had the churros and they were spot on.

Just went in the crockpot with some chicken. Weather is crazy nice out so I'm going to fire up the Q for some veggie kabobs to go with it.

Low carb but I followed it with a little ice cream so... Meh? Shrimp, sausage, zucchini and yellow squash, asparagus and shrooms.

Ummm all those things I said plus a splash of EVOO and s&p with a really healthy dose of Cajun seasoning, cook it till its done haha I put the shrimp in last since they only take a few mins to cook. My SIL did the "same" last night but just did red bell peppers and yellow squash so I guess its whatever is handy haha

I think it was andoulli (precooked like Johnsonville or somethin) but I think any link sausage would work... I was so hungry when I got home from work I was convinced that she had cut up cucumber by mistake and I was eating it raw... She had to show me the top for me to believe her haha
