    Not how I roll. If there’s nothing to do, go home. My current job is nice. It’s more of a staff job but not really. I have one E6 working for me and it’s a hell of a lot easier than running herd on a two dozen E4-E6’s. If there’s nothing going on I’ll remind him that he needs to head out for a medical appt or some BS.

    I fear I would not do too well in the other branches. :rofl:

    Sounds good to me! I was the king of cutbacks when I could afford to let people go...one Friday afternoon we had ALL the tools turned everything we needed done and even had all the guys pass on anything important. had 30 minutes to end of shift, This one spineless E6 wouldnt let any of us go home. I (E5 at the time) asked him what the hell do we need every swinging d*ck standing here for nothing! He just looked at us and basically said if I have to be here you have to be here. At that point I we prob had been standing around for an hour...I said Im leaving, anyone thats with me is with me...about half of us left first then the others followed. I told the spineless E6 you cant prosecute all of us...LOL and walked out.

    I’ve been out since 08, I gave strong consideration to the coast guard when I first wanted to join but I lost common sense and went marine corps lol.
