Regardless of ext or standard travel I’m going to run new Bumpstops. Wheelers.

But can one damage an ext travel shock on compression if the rear is not higher than 2”?

You should be good. Bottoming out is really the only serious concern for damage on compression. The lift is just where your starting point lies in your travel. I had extended on stock leafs and bumps before lifting it with Timbrens and have gone through pretty decent dips and bumps at 40mph and never once bottomed out.

I have a 2017 TRD OR 4x4. This is the kit I'm looking to get for 2.75-3". How does it look? Any thing else I should know? No extra weight other than sliders. Probably going to get aluminum front and rear bumpers (winch) eventually but not for awhile. So I was going with the 600 springs and if I need to go to 650 or 700 down the line I will. I was confused on what leaf pack I should get or if I need anything. Or If there is something different you would recommend let me know. I use the truck for work so no plans on tent or alot of weight in back like a full overland build (I need an open bed). What about ext travel for the rear? I have decided against the compression adjusters because from everything I have read I probably won't use it alot but let me know what you think

I was told to get extended if I planned on Dakar pack later. 3-aal is what I'm currently running with ext rears and it's fine. The shocks are longer and you'll probably have to disconnect your u-bolts to install them unless you're strong enough to compress them while slipping them in at the same time.

How high is your lift with that? I pretty much have the same setup up front as you and only wanted to do about a 2” lift

My King's are finally on island. Scheduled delivery tomorrow! Stoked!

I'm sure I'll have some questions soon regarding install, but a quick one for now is if I choose to remove my sway bar will the front resi brackets still work? Assuming maybe I'd need to get shorter bolts than the ones provided?

Ok I feel better about the 650s now lol. Shooting for 2” so seems I’ll have quite a bit less preload which will potentially even out the stiffness.

Yeah I ended up about 3 inches lift myself in rear, hell I'm actually at 3 in front too at the moment but I'm taking it in Friday and we're going to back the front down a bit. Keep in mind my bed is also empty so I'm trying to get my rack/rtt on soon bc man this thing is bouncy empty lol.
    is that front or rear??..

Yeah imagine my case lol, I'm pushing 3 inches front lift bc I was led to believe a 700 was a good choice for my truck when I'm not so sure 650 wouldn't have been better. Its not a bad ride by any means but its stiff, you can just tell it's not what it should be due to light front end and preload being too much atm. Im backing them down later this week in Hope's of gaining some ride quality back and maybe cleaning up some vibrations even. I'm not going to freak out until I have every single thing set as is and will stay as far as weight and load capacity bc I've heard that once I get some weight on the bed with those hd springs then my ride will be much much better. Oh and meanwhile this is happening
