you might want to look into speed bleeders
the next time I do anything with that nipple I think I'm going to swap them out for some speed bleeders.

Fishing season opens soon, and that is a great excuse to get out on the trails. We should have coffee soon and plan some fishing outings.

I am planning an overnight back there with my family for this weekend. I'll probably be making a run back sometime around lunch, you are most welcome to come along. Either for the drive or for the campout.

You are right. Forest Hills. I got it mixed up because forest, woods, low blood sugar... I'll go get a snack now and see you at the same Tim's as before around 9 tonight!

I'd love to go but alas I just got hit with some big bills (taxes and house insurance are all due in the next few weeks and I've got to scrape it together) so for the next little while I think I can only do local (ie Annapolis Valley) runs until I get this stuff paid off... Let me know next time you go though as I want to get out and explore the whole province if I can :) I was looking on google earth today at those Bowater trails and I'm sort of psyched to check them out as they seem a lot more extensive then I realized you could get that close to the city!

Either way, let me know any time you go and I will try to make it up that way for a run as soon as I deal with these stupid bills... sigh ;)

Bow water is my old stompin grounds and they basically make it all the way up to Windsor. I haven't made it all the way up to Windsor myself, and the trails are all logging roads, but they are still great fun with a lot of random offshoots.

I tried to go deer hunting in the Bowater area few years ago, but there was some ATV rally going on at the time. Haven't really been back that way. There must be some fishing up that way.

Hey Chad, thanks for the info. The power line trail might be worth checking out. There's lots of old dirt roads around Digby. I'm sure there's lots all around the province, I'm just not familiar with them. Although I'm hesitant to go in anywhere that might require recovery gear to get out.

It might be good to join in on a run sometime. Recovery is a lot easier with a few extra trucks around and I find it helps to follow someone already familiar with the track. I am still trying to find the good trails, but you are always welcome to come along.

There's a few of us who meet for coffee from time to time, usually later in the evening at the Tim's on Forest Hills in Cole Harbour (on account of two of us are Dads and we can't go out until our little ones are in bed.) If you ever see us post here about a coffee night, feel free to pile in!
