Does anyone else sleep on the couch in the living room with the front door ajar waiting for someone to come in. Or is it just me?

lol. I'm just sayin. Except for cleanin the mess up and missin a day from work, wouldn't it just be great to take your frustrations out on someone who is obviously there to rob your shit or hurt you or your family? Legally?
I dont think my glock .45 has ever been more that 6 ft away from me. ever.

No thx. I like being able to carry my glock, springfield operator or colt 1911a1 anywhere, anytime, anyplace. It's a shame that all states dont conform to the open carry law like nevada?

Imagine walking in to a bank or conveniance store to rob it and 6 out of 10 people there are openly carrying.

Coming from someone who posted a thread offering a "how to" install mud flaps, your opinion means jack shit.
    Now go troll elsewhere.

No thanks...I'll just dispense common sense here.
Thanks for your wisdom and insight.
    Keep it coming.
BTW, you think a prosecuting attorney in your murder/homicide trial might introduce this thread as evidence?
Any brains in there or just testosterone and bravado?

You are asking for trouble. Having a broken-in front door or window makes it much easier in your defense. It's all about what you can prove.
In Ohio, you need to be in fear for your life to use deadly force. Cops can spot liars from a mile away. Do not think the unlocked door will not go unnoticed. Anti-gun prosecutors are always looking to make an example of someone.
I am in favor of ccw. I pick mine up on tues. It's nice to have the option to openly carry, but dislike giving up the element of surprise. Imo.

OP, I hope you are just venting some frustration in life when you posted that. Self defense means not even going to have to defend yourself because you did not gave the BG an opportunity to do evil upon you and your family.

I believe you have a Castle Doctrine where you live and I envy you for that. JUst stay safe and be vigilant, nowadays its not worth getting into any form of litigation. Keep your well earned money and put it on truck mods rather than spending it on lawyer fees etc.;)

No sir, I was not venting. I was actually being a tad facetious.
Merely expressing my opinion about open carry and castle doctrine and about how great it is to be able to protect myself, my family and those around me in my own home.

I guess most of the other posters didn't recognize my dry humor.
I apologize good sirs. Carry on. :)

I protect my family first, by not inviting the danger into my house. I also practice my American right, but I am not hoping to kill someone, just because I can. That's how we get that right taken away. Maybe it's people like you that should not be allowed to have their permit, and carry a gun around.
