Swapped my 600 coils for some 650's. Kind of thinking I should have gone with 700's.
    Anyone need some King 600's?

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
There are some coolant lines on your throttle, attached to the iac valve. The run from the block in the rear. It's hard to see/reach without taking the intake manifold off.

Awesome thanks! I'll be doing that Saturday then. Gonna take off the skid plate to get a better look at it tonight pending weather.....

If it's busted it'll be a good time to step up to the Champion radiator, will be researching that more today

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I think I got the last one, and I got it specifically because the stock was light and I figured after 22 years she was due for a new one.

OK so I know I have leaking rear wheel seals. Most likely the internal one, from my WAG.

If I have to do the exterior, that means removing the bearing, right? Which case, time to replace it with a new one- but I don't have access to a long press, and can't find a heavy piece of tubing with approx 45mm ID (to clear the 40mm ID of the bearing retainer seat surface). Oh sure I can order a piece of pipe from Ruffstuff... for about $60. I'd rather not.

Noone around here stocks DOM tubing. I tried the plumbing stores looking fog 1-3/4" black iron pipe. No joy. Little help?? What are some other ways to get the bearing seated? I know that I can cheat the job to get the bearing off, by beating the axle against a piece of wood as I hold the backing plate (which itself seems sketchy). But I'm not about to pay someone $150 for 5 minutes of work with a press... and I don't have space available to store an upright press.

    Ideas?

If your axle seals are leaking, then the sealed bearings are compromised. No point in doing the seals without also replacing bearings and retainers.

I would recommend cutting bearings and retainers off instead of beating the shit out of your axle on the ground.

As for getting the new stuff back on, a press is by far the easiest way. I used one of these from McMaster Carr, which fits the ID of the bearings and retainers nicely. I suppose that in conjunction with a long pipe of whatever size fits around the axle shaft, you could try hammering the bearings back on. Not sure I'd want to do that either.

That will leave about 0.8mm of clearance so it does sound ideal.

I am still in need of ideas for the press, however.

EDIT: about the bearings- https://youtu.be/vW25hvODHcs?t=416 yup!

EDIT again- good lord. 25 minutes to tell you to flip the bearing retainer around for a better seal.

Hopefully got my ac leak wrapped up. Replaced all the lines up front on the drier as well as a new drier. Fuck this job.

Also did some bumper touch up work now that winter is hopefully over, and fixed my non sealing door.

Got some paint down on the carrier. Sliders are next! This winter was salty and ice ridden. A couple of times I sprayed off a couple hundred pounds of ice . Insta rust:crazy::goingcrazy: all you people not in the salt belt are stoked

I would highly recommend not using those bombproof motor mounts if you have a V6.
