@Salty_Dog You can put the oil on cheese or a treat most oils are coconut based palm oil. Google CBD Dog treats all kinds of information out there.

Have any of you guys seen a skin disease or something of that sort like this? The injured tissue is lumpy, it popped up between 3 AM when I left for work and 2 pm when I got home, it doesn’t seem to be bothering him right now. Vet appointment will be next week.
My first thought was wasps but I haven’t seen any in our yard and none of the other dogs had this pop up.

That’s not a dog bite or some other critter? I’d put Neosporin on it.

You might try turmeric powder. It's a root that is commonly used as a spice.

We had pretty good luck giving it to our old setter in her final years. Worked better than glucosamine chew treats.

This is Fiona. Adopted her on friday. She was abandoned by her PO and left inside their house when they moved.
She is getting more comfortable now, starting to realize that she can wander around the house and yard. Though, she really does not like the garage. Walked her through once and she went right back out and sat in the grass looking at me until I came outside.
Happier to have a foot to lay on or someone to lean against, but she will get in the kennel if I open the door (and get back out if I open it when she is inside) without any direction.
Not too fond of the Kong, but did walk over and bring it right back to me the first time I tossed it across the living room.
Already knows drop it (pine cones), bed, inside, outside, food, lay down, and stay (half the time).

At first I thought it was but the more I look at it I’m almost positive it’s a skin condition, there aren’t any deep punctures or signs of teeth.
I sent the picture to my cousin to show his wife (vet tech) and she said it’s likely a skin condition, we should still have him checked but, in her opinion, unless something changes it’s not an emergency.

It could be fly bites. The lumps could be eggs or larva. I'd definitely put something on it and keep a close eye. Is he sensitive if you try to squeeze or pinch one of the lumps?

He never really let us touch his muzzle since we got him (previous owners may not have treated him the best, we have almost no info on them) but he wasn’t frantic when he tried to pull away when I tried to touch him.
His bumps are firm and no discharge, although I did bump 2 scabs that caused a little bleeding when I was feeling the bumps.
No yelping or squirming when I squeezed the bumps either.

Careful with ointments, he'll probably lick it off, so make sure it's something safe for pets to swallow. Maybe ask the vet tech you know for a suggestion.

Have you had him long? Food allergies do wierd things with skin, a sudden change in diet can cause havoc. It could be something as simple as that. Good luck

Will do, if he doesn’t lick it off one of the other 4 dogs would try to.
We got him just before Christmas, about 1 month ago he was switched from puppy food to adult food but apparently Pedigree isn’t very good (owners choice, not mine) and gave my cousin similar skin issues with his two labs.

Vet guessed my dog was allergic to chicken and made the suggestion we try something else. First food we tried cleared everything up. He said it can sometimes take many tries before finding what it is specifically they don't like. Spring and new growth in the yard can bring all other stuff to life he might be allergic to.

Based on the picture I'm thinking it's definitely skin or allergy related. You can see where the super irritated area is and the spot that's just getting started is. But I'm definitely no expert.
