    I think that's probably typical because of the amount of stored energy there is in the cable. I bet actually tying something to the cable like a towel or something with weight in it would be more effective because it wouldn't be able to zip out from it. Also they had one at ea. end kinda makes me think having one at ea. end then one in the middle would be ideal.

    Moral of the story no matter what you do to try and increase safety these things are dangerous as shit and you need to stay the hell out of the way. I will get a winch with a remote control and stay far away from it when winching. No in the cab winching for me!!!
