Just getting caught up, so on the subject of IPA’s, best two everybody has ever had:

1. Ale smith works out of San Diego-logical decision

2. Now discontinued Breckinridge Brewery-471, is now being replaced by 472.

Everyone chime in, always looking for a good IPA to try.

 

Hmm, I really like Bale Breaker Top Cutter and Black Raven Trickster as well.

 

Ha bale breaker is my bosses brothers company. He married a 5th generations hops farmers daughter. They built the brewery in Yakima on field 41 hence the first beer is called field 41. Very cool. Need a good motorcycle ride there for a beer zane!

 

I'd be down for that, be a really fun ride.

 

Only 2, so hard to choose...

For simple IPAs:
1. Current favorite is Hazealicious by Rueben's Brews in Seattle, Wa
2. Little Juice Smoothie by Three Magnets Brewing in Olympia, Wa.

What I really go for are Double IPAs or Imperial IPAs. Two names for essentially the same thing.
1: All time favorite (now discontinued ) is Double Jack by Firestone-Walker brewing in Paso Robles, Ca.
2. A very close 2nd is Enjoy By (right now its) 4-20-19 by Stone Brewing in Escondido,Ca.

I should have said from the start, doubles and imperials are preferable, I like to enjoy a good IPA like a good whiskey, a sip at a time.

 

Then you'd likely like Flagstaff IPA from Lumberyard Brewing, it's not a double but it sure does pack the punch of one.

 

Ballast Point - Sculpin and Firestone-Walker's Union Jack are my top two. However, I have also been drinking alot of Uinta Grapefruit Hop Nosh.
