Reminded me of a joke. Most things do. I've heard a lot of jokes. Some were even funny.

So, the old man says to the wife. "I'm going to the store. You want anything?" "Yes, bring me back some ice cream." She tells him. "Want me to write it down so you don't forget?" "Naw, I'll remember" he replies. She stops him as he's heading out the door. "You know what? I think I want a banana split. I want a scoop of vanilla with pineapple sauce, a scoop of chocolate with marshmallow and a scoop of strawberry with hot fudge. And I want nuts, whipped cream and a cherry on top. I better write this down for you" "No, I'll remember" he assures her. A half hour later he comes back with a greasy bag of bagels. She takes a look inside and says "You forgot the cream cheese"

 

gopher. Typically moles have huge front feet and little back ones, that's why it's a gopher. I have caught a live mole and it didnt look like that. They also have different fur.

They probably know about it already. Texas Game Wardens are no joke, it's a rare day when I don't see one out patrolling. Fun fact-they have a huge jurisdiction that grants them power of warrantless searches in your home, boat, or vehicle (so long as the probable cause is wildlife related.)

I might have run afoul of them on more than one occasion.
Senior year of college I bought a canoe. Exploring a remote section of a small East Texas River, a warden waded out and grabbed the side of my boat. I got a ticket because I had the wrong kind of life preservers on board. He was very nice though.

I also had a warden sneak up on me from the bushes while camping. He said the camo-colored koozie over my beer bottle was clever, but not good enough for the law. I got a written warning for public display/consumption. He was also very nice about it.

When I used to live in Houston I'd frequently take the Galveston ferry to Crystal Beach. More than once I'd see a warden walk along the line of cars waiting to board, and if there was a cooler and a fishing pole in the back of your truck, it got searched. Again, always nice though.

Who needs big brother, we already got Game Wardens.
