Same wheel I use. I love the wheels, indifferent to the "fakelock."
To those talking about taking all the rock or curb rash, I'll take that over cracking or grinding the lip off... I can reshoot the face, but I cannot easily add a lip back on.

I think the SCS and VTX fakelocks are not offensive, as the wheel design is strong with or without.

To each their own hence why my build isn't an exact copy of anyone else's.

I was thinking that, but the ZR2 does come with a few goodies the Taco doesn't.

I went so far as to remove the fake ring and fill the holes on the Toyota Rock Warrior forged wheels. Beadlock = Hutchinson.

I’m indifferent. Honestly, 99% of fake beadlocks don’t even look like beadlocks. Bolts around the rim don’t look like beadlocks.

Here is a real beadlock, you tell me if the fake ones come close.

To each their own. I think they're usually a little too flashy, and I would assume much heavier than needed. Form follows function in my book so it's a no go from me.

who cares. what petty first world problems. a businesses motivation is profit. if fake rings sells more than non fake, the answer is clear.

dudes drive around on this forum with tents and traction pads, spare fuel, 200 fucking led’s and never go more than 10 miles from their house.

i mean look at this stupid fucking thing.

Took me a moment to figure out what you were going on about. I thought you wrote the first sentence then started tripping out or something and writing weird haiku poetry.

A high strength epoxy. If I did this again, I would find suitable aluminum bolts, thread them in with epoxy or thread locker, cut them near flush, then run the wheel in a lathe.
