They are solid guns. I put 2000 rounds through one in a day at an instructors course and it ate everything I shoot theouth it. I don’t recommend a safety for a carry gun but that’s a personal choice. They are super reliable though.

 

SO right now...

 

We like it so far lol. The power is a pretty huge change. From 2.7 to 5.7 is nice

 

The safety on it is pretty easy to hit. If I can't get a shot off because I didn't flick the safety shame on me.

 

It’s something you may not think of in the heat of the moment where a split second decision could mean life or death - just IMO. No safety for me.

You can get the shield or all the M&Ps with or without the safety I thought?? I could be wrong.

I have an assortment of Glocks as well don't think I could carry anything else.

 

The 20 though!!!. If only I were able to add an 18 to the collection that is one of my Unicorns for the collection.

 

I shoot glocks horribly.

 

My shield does not have any external safetys

 

That's what I thought is they have them both ways.

I am the same way with any of the Springfield XD's
