    Rented a noid light set, but I'm suspecting I have a faulty injector somehow. Just not sure how it could be bad but check out okay. The spark plugs and was clean and dry and the exhaust when misfiring doesn't smell overly rich so I'm fairly sure it's a fueling issue.

    They're Barb style injectors, so I'm going to put on some Sarah McLaughlin and weep as I tear apart both rails to remove the single offender. I have spare injectors from before I took the car apart, I'll try and run one of those. They were seemingly okay before I took it apart. The noid light says my wiring is good.

    I hear ya. The injectors on my Z were so terrible to get out and reinstalled.

    I don't much like side feeders either but at least yours unscrew and slip out (usually breaking in the process but close enough haha). Mine are a remnant of olden days. Gonna go to traditional top feeds when I get this sorted and I'm ready to Turbo.

    Diagnosed the injector as the culprit today. PITA but at least they're on the top of the engine haha

    @XPOTRPR so the carpet kit on a single cab pickup is a multipiece design? I wish the Taco kits were, they'd be less of a chore to get the molding all in place

    It's a one piece. Minus the back wall.

    I've never done carpet or anything like this before, and I was busting through it pretty quick figuring it out as I go, and spent about an hour or so working on it. Threw it in and focused on getting the center portion lined up. I worked at the front portion first and made a slice to get it pulled up to where the middle of the carpet molding fit the truck. Then started trimming the sides to get it to fit up into the feet area under the dash. Took a few passes trimming the sides and taking a little at a time so I wouldnt over shoot it. Got the width pretty good so start doing the detailed cutting up under the dash and around the center console. The center console (right under the headunit) proved to be the hardest part. If I would have taken more time and thought it out better.. I cold have made a little cleaner, but overall it came out pretty good. Plus once the center console is built.. it'll cover anything under there. Finish up the driver side tomorrow. The rear is pretty simple. I will have to work around the bottle jack cradle though. Then I'll have the back wall and rear pillars covered in the same black carpet and have the bottom roll under the carpet on the floor.
