I asked him the same question and it was a very adamant no. He will not put you on a list, and you cannot preorder....at least that was his response to me in a pm.

 

Can @mesojdm just add something to the first post saying something along the lines of "There is no list, you cannot be added to any list, there are no pre-orders, you have to watch this thread or sign up for email notification through the website and order quickly." ?

I mean, I'm sure some people will still ask, but maybe it will reduce how many do... Though I can't really blame too many people for not reading through 120+ pages to find that answer...

 

The email notifications are not being sent or at least I never received one. Whatever though. These are a want not a need item...

Is it normal for the 2nd gen MESO map lights to be tough to turn on? It seems like you have to really press on that raised outer lip to activate them whereas the stock maps are more forgiving.

 

did you try removing the original reflector?

Anybody have trouble with some light not coming on in cold temps? 25 and 23 degrees respectively last 2 mornings and red dome in work truck didn't come on. Switched from door to on and back..nothing. Worked normal that evening when it warmed up.

I'm having that problem. I have the original reflector removed on both, and my passenger side does not work correctly. I push it to activate it, and it stays depressed and does not turn on. I've taken it out and attempted to reinstall it making sure it is in there correctly. When it is out I push the switch and activate it and it works correctly. Only when it is installed it does not work correctly. Looks like I got a lame set that doesn't work correctly , what a waste of $

 

Check that the wires on the plug that goes into the bulb outlet are straight along the plastic. If not, any slight movement when the wiring is folded behind the light will break the circuit.

Other than that at least ask @mesojdm for help before throwing in the towel. His customer service is excellent.

 

Mine is the dome not the map lights. If its above roughly 30 degrees it works perfectly and I am happy with it. MESO Customs products are high quality and he has excellent customer service. I'm thinking it's just a general led cold weather thing.
