Is it just me or are there no new exciting vehicles? Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. But I'm a little bored w/ the Taco since I've had it for 10 years. What are you guys seeing that interest you in the 50k range?

define "exciting" like exciting to look at or exciting to drive? I think the new bronco looks pretty cool, ide never buy one though.

Both! I mean...I know appearance is subjective, but as long as it wasnt beat with an ugly stick. Something with a solid engine thats fun to tune. And just well-built to start.

I guess I should say currently have an old '49 chevy 3100 that I play around with. It's pretty quick, fun and enjoyable overall. I've had a well modded e46 M3, 600hp 300zx, a couple sport bikes, and a few other pickups and cars.
Nothing short of 75k is making me want to sell my Taco and go buy something new tho. I'm bored with the car game right now!

The new Supra will retail at $50K, but it's a re-badged BMW.

There isn't much out there that excites me, as mentioned the Bronco is the only thing I'm interested in seeing.

I still find it odd its not pushing the same power numbers as the z4 considering its pretty much the same platform

Nothing better than slowly driving a smoking diesel in the left lane, and holding up the rest of traffic.

Since you didn't narrow down the type of vehicle... there are so may options today!

    HONDA CIVIC TYPE R
    MSRP: From $35,700
    Horsepower: 306 hp
    Engine: 2.0 L 4-cylinder
    MPG: 22 city / 28 highway
    Curb weight: 3,117 lbs
    Torque: 295 lb-ft

    SUBARU WRX
    MSRP: From $27,195
    Horsepower: 268 to 310 hp
MPG: Up to 21 city / 27 highway
Curb weight: 3,272 to 3,455 lbs
    Engine: 2.0 L 4-cylinder, 2.5 L 4-cylinder

    CAMARO 1SS (6.2 V8)
    From $37,995
    455 HP, 455 lb-ft TQ

    CAMARO 3LT (3.6 V6)
    From $31,495
    355HP, 284 lb-ft TQ

Build quality might be questionable on a few of these... camaro especially. But they are all performance bargains.

RAM made a 2018 "1500 Sport" model with a 550-HP supercharged V8, not sure about price and not sure if it's still made.

The used market has endless options for affordable performance.

The Camaro ZL1 I test drove was pretty exciting, really, really tiny inside and couldn't see out of well, but that just added to the excitement!

Depends. Two main schools of thought on what is fun in a vehicle. Fun to go fast vs. fun to go anywhere.

If you want to go fast, the Corvette is pretty awesome. Brand new would be over 50k though. Mustang with all the bells and whistles would probably be closer. Or see the previous options mentioned.

If you want to go anywhere...you already own the most mod friendly capable rig out there. It's lonely at the top, but comforting to look down at everyone on the bottom :D.

    Raptors are nice though.

It sounds like you are looking in the same places at the same things, attracting what you always do. Maybe you need Joe Dispenza - How to stop being your self ..

There is so much stuff out there that is exciting in the $50K range, you just have to establish a new criteria maybe.

$50k could get you anything from a Gladiator, to a 1-2 year old C43 AMG right through to a used raptor or a brand new Model 3. Hell I've seen used Hellcats in that price range.

Its kinda like loafs of bread, if you just keep looking at loafs of bread you cant complain that all the food out there is boring... yeah bread sucks but you're choosing what to focus on.
