I'd already taken the shift plate out before to cut a hole for the transfer case so the only difficult part was getting to the bushings underneath all the electrical plugs. Some guys are buying the OEM bushings but I figure these will last a lot longer than those OEM rubber bushings.

They should! I've yet to find out what the OEM ones are yet, but they seem to be some soft rubber type bushing, whereas the ones Im making are 95A urethane. So they are much stiffer and should be alot more resistant to the elements vs rubber (assuming the OEM ones are rubber considering they don't last long)

Thanks! Definitely seems like a good amount of work. I want to verify that that is where the leak is coming from before tearing everything down. Does it normally fill the whole valley with coolant? The front of the valley is dry on mine. It also seems like it would leak down the passenger side of the engine as well, which mine isn't doing. Just the drivers.

the ones ive seen differ on where the leak. some passenger side some driver side. just depends on where the "gasket" on the plate is more open i guess (its not a gasket but kind of? its foam i think)
but judging by your pics id say is safe to say is that coolant plate. ive never seen a head gasket leak that bad. The front of the valley is taller so it'll fill till it leaks out the back.

Yes, the website "says" 2 weeks. Took over 4 weeks to get confirmation of shipping and tracking info and another 2 weeks to get to me in OR, for 6 weeks total.

Will it hurt anything to drive it like this for a little while until I can get this fixed? As long as I keep an eye on the coolant and add as needed?

    3” lift. Sway a ways 2.5 on 285 75 16 and much more
Re-packed my XRC8 with new grease. And checked to make sure the winch fits properly in my half way done bumper. Now to move on and make some wings on this thing.

Finished putting the interior back together. Got the roof and rear sound deadened, rear speakers and sub installed.

Next week hafta do the doors and wire in the amp.

Also found a possible leak in the front diff.

So much to do and never enough time...

Check that your fill/drain plugs are tight on the diff, otherwise it's probably coming from one of the axle seals

What keeps out trucks from starting? I'm stuck on the side of the highway currently about to call for the tow truck. It cranks and wants to fire but it seems like something is killing it.
