Fugly trucks

what do you find that is unappealing about the 95.5-97 style (4x4), just so I(We) can have some perspective and maybe change it to your liking
every 1s a winner

 

I agree 01-04 look slick, but I like the old school look of the 95.5-97. Block letters on tailgate especially.

 

I still wonder why Toyota did away with that block letters in '98

 

yes I don't have nice fender flares

Omg. Looks like the '80's got syphilis and aids, then threw up all over that truck.

 

Front end and hood are too plain. The 2001-2004's are just right.

 

I suppose I am from the old school late 80s early 90s classic design, what i grew up looking at

For sure, I still miss my 86 4Runner. For me, it seems like the early tacos are just a transition between two ideal looks, the more boxy late 80's look and the more refined, rounded look of the late model tacos. Move to the 2nd and 3rd gen Tacos and it just looks like those trucks went to the gym too much and always skipped leg day.

 

Careful, his truck was submerged in poo water. Wear gloves, lol
