So I ordered my NWTI rear plate bumper. Locally in Seattle shops are charging me between $600-$1000 to assemble the parts. Are those prices reasonable? If I add the cost of the bumper with shipping and labor charge I could buy an assembled powder coated bumper....

Anyone else feeling that this seems high to assemble?

    Thanks,
    -Mark

yeah that's way too high IMO. I would try and find a local TW member that knows how to weld...hell you could probably buy a cheap HF welder and practice on your own for a few weeks and do it yourself for half or less than what those shops are quoting you.

I should clarify my post...I do agree that those prices make sense for a shop quote but it's way too high for him to be spending on a DIY bumper. I bet he could find a local welder or someone from TW that knows how that could do it for a couple hundred and some beer/lunch.
