The Plymouth Arrow/Ram 50's were the 2nd Gen access cab of the 80's, lol. In 4x4, they were decent little trucks. In 2wd, forget it. Just awkward looking

Sweet baby cheesus. Of all the things going on with this truck, what seems to bug me the most is the fact that the side step is sitting at the front of the passenger door. Wtf? Who does that?

You're really not helping your case, here, lol...

But at least those were designed form the beginning as step sides, not like the Tacomas/Tundras that are trying (and failing) to have that look.

Well, no accounting for bad taste, I guess :notsure:

Stepside Toyotas are definitely fugly (same for the fake stepsides from Ford/Chevy in the 90's). But vintage stepsides are sexy.

The things I would do for a stepside squarebody chevy are unspeakable. God I love those.

I can't think of a stepside that was made in the last 30 years that looks good. Or even just looks OK.

Hate to break it to you, but the 90's were 30 years ago. As much as it pains me to admit... :pout:

Since I guess there is some rule about calling a classic car/truck fugly, I guess you could call the '50 F1 my dad had "good looking."

    Still not my taste tho.

While I would never want either of these myself, I LOVE that they exist somewhere in the world.

I'm still at a point where when I say 'a couple of years ago' and I mean 2002

fitting neatly within the 'last 30 years' requirement. If you want to be pedantic, we can include 1989 in the 'ugly stepsides' category pretty easily, since Chevy was making this:

and Ford put this on sale in the fall of '89:
