    I am also getting another Connection Plate sent my way as a sample so I can test it on the 4Runner Mirror to see if it lines up exactly with their OEM Adjuster Actuator. It would be easier to just swap their Connection Plate in the Kit rather than source the mirror motor. Fingers are crossed with this one for this easy fix.

    I am actually working on the bulk orders now. I’m working on a ton of things currently. Thinking of throwing out there 100 Tacoma Mirrors and 100 4Runner Mirrors. As those go, then I can keep upping it as it grows.

    UPDATE:

    I was working on the wiring last night on my truck which is the last and final step and I had the Adjuster Switch working great. I went to the Fold and Unfold Toggle Switch and there was nothing. I was doing a lot of trouble shooting and currently I have my guys working on testing and fixing this situation. They seem to think it has to do with the switch and wiring harnesses being offered for RH and LH vehicles in the different countries. However, we will get to the bottom of it, get it fixed and be on our way!! I cannot wait. I just wanted to give you all an update on where things are with the progress of the wiring.

    As for the 4Runner, the second part of install should be taking place this weekend as @Braves95 will be picking up from where he left off and soon we will be able to post up some pictures. Also, with the 4Runner Switches and Wire Harnesses being mailed to me earlier this week :bananadance: I should have them any day!!!

    UPDATE:

    Alright everyone! 4Runner DIY Kit is 100% installed inside the OEM 5th Gen Mirror!

    Things we found out during the install process:
    • Connection Plate or the Adjuster Actuator Need to be Switched Out
    • Connection Plate Needs to be Modified to fit the OEM Turn Signal Signal
    • Three Cirlcles on the backside of the Mirrors MAY need to be Modified depending on the Adjuster Actuator used for this Kit
    • Mirror Housing Adjuster Actuator mounts are not needed and therefore are cut off and smoothed out to make a clean surface for the Adjuster Actuator to mount cleanly to the New Connection Plate
    Other than that, I think that about sums it all up. Everything else went extremely smooth with the install process. All we are waiting on now is the 4Runner Switches and Wiring Harnesses. However, we did a test of the mirrors to make sure they were operating and functioning 100% after install. What do you know, they WORK!!! :bananadance:

    This was actually a great little project. I'm so glad I could contribute to this project. Now I can't wait for the final stage to begin ie: switch and the final wiring.
