Anyone have a good setting on these DSCs for a washboard and a rutted out road? 20mile stretch i ran was harsh at 40mph.. I was wide open to begin with.. aired down to 30psi then dialed both low and high up about 3 clicks.. seemed a bit better..

The bigger rims also play a role, but airing down a bit more will help out a lot

Thanks for replying. Have you run into any issues or concerns with the factory brake lines? How often do you off road and what type of off roading do you do?

Quite a bit of Forest Service roads and snow wheeling with occasional easy off road trails. I bought the shocks from Accutune and was told I didn't need extended brake lines for this setup. I am not concerned about it and have not had any issues.

After breaking a front strut, I pulled the trigger on extended 2.5 coilovers w/ reservoir, and getting them installed in the morning (I leave for DV next week!). I called a shop to expedite the install and they said I'd need to be certain on ride hight as they advised on adjusting threads BEFORE it goes on the truck.

Understanding that weight is a factor here, can anyone give me a rough estimate on what to do with the coil (out of the box) for a ~2.5" lift? tighten down by .5"? I was going to follow DoorDing's build but it seems he's no longer on TW?

I have a 2nd Gen / bumper / winch / dual battery under the hood. Sort of a Hail Mary, but holler if you hear me. :fingerscrossed:

I have a 2nd gen, front hybrid with hoop, winch, RCI front and mid skid and sliders. I had my pre load at a little under 2" lift height was a little over 2.25". Switched to a 14" 650 spring

thanks for the reply. to confirm if I understand correctly, is that 2.25" of threads exposed for 2" of lift?

If you have the factory 13” 600lb springs I’m not sure it’ll work right. as you have a lot of added weight. probably need 650 or 700.. i suggest you do some more probing to find out exactly

    Good luck

Other way around. I had 2" of thread for the 2.25" lift

@*TRD* would be able to steer you close to where you need to be with all that added weight

FYI for those going with 14" 650 springs.. make sure you lower your preload or else you'll be sitting around 25-25.5" of lift like I was. Some Jabroni's on the forum said it wouldn't make a difference in preload between 600 and 650 but it definitely does. I have the preload set at just a hair above 1 1/8" on the drivers side and 15/16" on the passenger side (need to adjust the passenger side slightly). 23.75ish lift on driver side and right at 24" on passenger side. Just thought i would share so you don't end up with the most ridiculous bro lean like I did.
