So my hands are always beat to shit from wrenching. When I went to the doc to outprocess, he asked about my “rashes” on my hands and if they itched. I chuckled and told him they’re not rashes. There are quite a few scars on them.

 

Funny, my doc asked the same thing the other day. But that was after he checked my prostate.

 

Same. Wife wants me to use "working hands" or some shit. I want all the scars, cuts and calisus!!!

 

Ya'll just need to work in the trades that shit comes with the territory.

I hear ya! At the end of the day my fore finger is sore from rolling this wheel on the mouse here at work! It sucks! And they keep adjusting the A/C so now it is up to 72 degrees! Glad I have my two fans to make up for that!!

 

I have been since I was 17. Randy and the boys were getting on me about wearing gloves during the mod day. I just can't do it. Never have probably never will.

I show up last weekend for the 63 swap. Skip shows me his sunburned hands from welding “yeah I don’t like wearing gloves”

Then he proceeds to bust his hands like 5 times in which gloves would’ve saved them.

 

Yeah shit hurt. It’s like borderline needing stitches, but I think it’s fine.

 

Superglue that shit and rub some dirt on it.

 

Exactly the only gloves I'll were are latex ones when working on greasy nasty cars so that I don't get that shit all staining under my fingernails.

Yep but that's how I roll got use to it a long time ago.

That's what I told my daughter when she was little and would fall and scrape her knees she took it literally and would do it. Funniest shit ever. My uncle got a kick out of it. Now she thinks I'm crazy and stupid for saying that.

 

Oh I've got stitching kits and a stapler just in case got tired of paying the docs to do it. But Randy has a built in Doc that can stitch him up good.

 

Staples are fun. Got 3 of them in my skull 12 years ago; no numbing shot.

 

I just asked her to and she told me no. Closing up a wound isn’t preferable, because it can trap in bacteria and can lead to infection. Leaving the wound open (if possible) is ideal.

She said she’d have to scrub the shit out of it to make sure it’s clean. I took a hard pass.
