Guns are like cars to me..

I love the modern day mustang's and Camaros, but an easily appreciate a 57 Belair, a 61 bubble top, or even a 67 Chevelle SS396...

    I have 4 Sigs, 4 Glocks, 2 XDs, and 9 1911s...................

So which ammo does it like the best? I've got a brand new one sitting in my safe and wondering what to feed it.

Mine likes CCI standard, but it also wears a Griffin Armament checkmate QD.

I ran several types through it. Believe it or not I ran over 800 rounds through it yesterday. I had two light strikes with Winchester 36gr. hp’s. It wasnt the guns fault though as it struck hard and left a deep rim mark. I love this thing. I think I ran the plate rack faster than i ever have from low ready. I didn’t bring a timer with me because I don’t have a holster for it anyway. After I sighted in I was shooting the best I’ve ever shot a pistol. I was shooting 3-4” steel animals at 15- 20 yards that kids normally shoot with a benched rifle and I almost couldn’t miss.

I didn’t shoot any subsonic Ammo through it as most semi-autos won’t cycle it anyway, but I have a feeling it would cycle it. I’ll try some next week.

I was thinking I would as I can’t leave anything stock, but I like it as is. I bought it for a training gun because I like to introduce people to shooting and I have a lot. I have a 10” barreled stainless Mark 1, but it’s a bitch to clean.
I’m thinking now I’ll buy another one and mod it.

I want to mod mine but I don’t know where to start.
I’m thinking either grips or “HALO” first, the gun isn’t uncomfortable to me, but it doesn’t feel like what I expect when I grip it.

Yeah, the grip leaves something to be desired, but I’m a Glock guy so it doesn’t bother me. Lol.
There is a guy on Etsy that makes grips for these that everybody likes. I’ll try to find a link. There is also Tandemkross Hive grips. Tandemkross makes trigger and other thing for them too.

Agreed; I have quite a few myself. Everything from a 6.5 Creed long distance rifle to a lever action .500 S&W; pretty much one of everything I like. Acquired over 30 years of gun enthusiasm as I was taught at an early age to shoot safely, and well.

Picked up a Sig SHR 970 rifle today.

$1200: selling this Leupold Mark 4 6.5-20x55mm that came on on it. Display model, not a mark on it with caps. Way overkill for what I would like.

3 of our local members here just took a class this week. CPR/AED, major trauma, and fire extinguishers all in one class. Instructors were local fire fighters. Was a good class and we learned how to use our trauma packs, tourniquets etc. They opened up an Israeli battle dressing and showed us how it works. We all practiced packing wounds in ballistic gel.
