I sold my Entune and thought IT WAS STOLEN! But now delivered!!!!

I guarantee you it wouldn't because every one of them believes they are smarter and wiser than the last person that tried and got caught

 

What is the proper etiquette when something like that happens? Is it on the shipper or the receiver? I'm assuming the shipping company absolves themselves of any responsibility like any typical bottomlined focused company would. Heaven forbid them take responsibility for leaving something in plain sight for anyone to see.

 

That was excellent. That was beautiful. The world needs more intelligent ingenuity like this.

 

They're just providing the delivery service, if you gave people an inch there they'd take a mile and claim things just to get the insurance payout, scumbaggery exists on all sides of the equation. I don't blame them for making the process tough, they'd lose tons if it was just a supermarket sweep of coverage from one house to another. Might as well post armed guards haha

 

He admitted he faked some of the footage, which was a real bummer cause I really enjoyed seeing people get fed their karma.

 

Ugh... faked footage for views is total BS... that is thoroughly disappointing.

I just heard the package arrived today!!!

So I’m at work was def still bummed but was also impressed to everyone who reached out to me for advice and others who have tried to get me another entune. Well great news my gf just called me and the package arrived today!!! I’m very thankful and appreciate everyone who chimed in. I don’t post much on here but def will now was impressed how awesome not only how Tacoma world is but how all the members are very active and helpful!

Thanks to @itsnotatoy for the unit and bezel and smooth transaction if you’d like to change the thread name if possible to not stolen but finally delivered lol.

Also I’m extremely grateful because I recently installed my stage 4 icon lift on my taco all day Sunday. And I was looking forward to the unit upgrade from my sr5 one and now I’ll get to enjoy it!

 

Yup. I had a video of a guy stealing stuff from my truck but the cop said they didn’t recognize him so there’s nothing they could do.
Checking the local pawn shops and Craigslist to hopefully hunt the guy down is about all you can do these days....

I've had it happen to me on 3 different deliveries. Glad it made it.

 

No I’m assuming they had it scanned as delivered yesterday and received it today.
