Most parents let their kid have an ipad before they go to bed. They can watch anything on hulu, netflix whatever.

I was like you. No adult animated shows what so ever. Now its all I watch.

But when the high limit blows, yeah those always get a new operating thermostat with the new high limit.
The thermal fuse Bart was talking about was the thin white plastic one, I thought

Just beware of fake ones. They're all over ebay and even Amazon so I've heard.

Worth the peace of mind to grab the best priced one from an auto parts store. I got my rear o2 Denso from Pep Boys for around $100 iirc

So maybe it was a fluke, hoping it’s not, but first tank of gas since doing my timing belt and it looks like I picked up almost 4 mpg

Many vehicles and EFI systems are designed off of Bosch components. Toyota with it's huge stock in Nippon Denso has worked on being almost entirely it's own EFI system. Even Nissan uses Hitachi and Jecs (who learned their shit from Bosch). Toyota has it's own functioning ecosystem

Yeah most modern engines are using plastic valve covers. I don't know of anyone that reproduces old engine valve covers in plastic tho.

No, that's an interesting material choice, flexibility seems like it would be a huge issue

It would rev like a motherfucker haha.. one of their selling points was that if you throw a rod it won’t punch a hole in the block

Just so I'm sure...though Bosch is a reputable brand, this explains why they (Toyota) tend to run best on Denso sensors then?

They're both designed acceptably, but I'm fairly sure the difference lies within the margins of error between the two. Toyota expects a lot from their sensors and does all their testing on Denso equip, Denso is OEM for them... And often Honda. Although in this case, a downstream O2 is about as important as a facial boil so I don't think it'll matter what you choose.

I did cut it a little shorter on one end. I don’t remember which end. I want to say the end that goes into the TB I had to cut.
