    If the budget allows I recommend aftermarket replacements, that said on 5100’s I was able to get away with the OEM UCAS for a year before the suspension overhaul.

    I hope to make it to a mod day but I was worried it would take too long for one day-I have no idea.
    I have experience working with my hands (studying engineering and robotics in high school) but don't have much experience on the scale of a truck other than my bumper and some lights.

    This is true, you can go in a few more places in-state with a CCW without getting in trouble and it's really helpful if you go out of state because missouri has reciprocity with quite a few others which makes it nice.

    Like @mcharfauros said, isn't necessary, but "nice to have." I've been running the 5100's on OEM UCA for probably too long. Hopefully changing soon though!

    Granted we didn't do an AAL, I believe it was last mod day, we did a 5100 swap and rear block on @zdski's truck. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it amounted to a few hours of work is all.

    Hmmm guess I will look around for UCAs then maybe do a shackle in the back instead of AAL for simplicity. I tow a lot though so idk if an AAL would be nice with the boat and it would keep the rake so my truck doesnt squat with a trailer.
