They don't make them anymore. Vagabond, GFC, or the AT habitat are your closest options.

Nice. I ordered the Ayer Sky 2 from REI but neither Tepui’s website or any where else have that tent listed. So I’m trying to find some real world photos of people using that tent.

How did you like it, any pros or cons?

I initially bought the Yakima RTT but was thoroughly disappointed. One, their mounting hardware was made of plastic that felt it could break after a year or two, plus it did not fit on my rack. Then the holes for the mounting hardware were not drilled properly. I quickly returned it to REI and ordered this Sky 2

My wife and I have been enjoying the Tepui Ayer 2 since July 2018.We bought it at REI, too. It's a bit smaller, kind of like the size of a back packing tent. But that seems to make it a bit more manageable while off roading with its lighter weight. For reference, I'm about 5'7" and my wife is about 5'2". We fit with probably enough room to squeeze a small child, a dog or two, some gear, etc. If you use it for winter camping, it will get cold in there, so have a good sleeping bag for the temperatures expected and/or some kind of heating system.

Thank you for the awesome info, love the pics as well. From the photos, it looks like you don’t have a bed stiffener. I ordered some but would rather not install it unless it’s absolutely needed. Have you find that your bed is buckling from the weight of your tent/load? The only weight I’ll have on it will be my 60 pound bed rack, 95 pound tent, plus the weight of me, my gf, and my dog whenever we are camping.

I actually bought those Total Chaos bed stiffeners as I was building the bed rack and attaching the rtt, but I've yet to install them. The tonneau cover I use, a Diamondback HD cover, can hold up to 1,600lbs and sits on top of the bed box. I don't know how much weight the Front Runner Outfitters Slimline II bed rack can hold, but it's lightweight and fairly strong. I've never taken off any part of that setup since installing them last summer. I've actually added a couple more things on the rack: a shovel w/ its mounts and an axe with its mounts. The truck is also a "daily driver", although not driven on the daily. All that stuff stays on while parked. The truck is pretty much as stock as can be, except for all that stuff going on on top of the bed. So far, thanks to God, I haven't experienced or noticed any deficiencies in the setup nor the truck with regard to the bed and bed rack setup. ...driving up hills and mountains with all that gear on, that's another story.

Short weekend trip out to Anza Borrego. First time using the Freespirit High Country 55" Tri-layer. Tent was easy to open and close but almost fell off the rack during the off-road journey. Other than that, the camping trip was a success!
