What are the large storage bins in the cab? Been looking for something similar on and off but haven't found anything I like. The ones that you have are exactly what I'd like to get.

There just cheap Plano boxes, with Plano ammo cans between them. there a perfect fit for the width of a first gen.

Finally! after years of wanting a rooftop tent, I finally pulled the trigger on a Tepui Ayer sky 2. was wanting a ruggedized Tepui but as others have pointed out it really doesn't need to be that over built.
The tent quality is actually super great and install was relatively easy other that the cover.. Tepui had a batch of covers that were shipped out through REI where the zipper was sewn on backwards! But thankfully Tepui has great customer service and is replacing the cover for free and upgrading me to a black cover per request!

Plenty of fun this past few weeks! First went to test out my new tent and broke a spindel on reddington pass, then had a ball trying to fix it lol.
    UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_9d3.jpg UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_9e2.jpg
So after all that I ended up replacing the broken spindle along with new lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rods and wheel bearings.
    UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_a0c.jpg
Then I tried to get my total chaos spindle gussets fitted for welding but they look a little off.. but I didn't have time to deal with it for now so it will have to wait.
    UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_a16.jpg
Also did some soldering and made a cheap camp light for the bed!

Had my brother come down from NC to explore some of Arizona with me!, we first started off on Reddington pass, up in chimney rock. Then we actually got snowed in and had some time getting out lol. for any of you who knows there's about a 4 ft ditch on one side that if its slick you will slide right into!

First we started to air down but for some reason my arb deflator had just crapped out on me either from the cold or from being in my trasharoo.
    UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_a95.jpg UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_a47.jpgUNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_a85.jpgUNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_a69.jpg
Then we woke up and made some quick trail meals and coffee to get us out of about a foot of snow and 2" of rain from the previous nightUNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_ab9.jpg

So then we headed toward sonoita for a long snowy drive through a southern Arizona blizzard!UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_a8b.jpg

Then as we headed for camp in Sierra vista, I guess just from the cold my ladder broke. thankfully Tepui has great customer service and already are sending me a new ladder.

Then On Saturday we had a good trail run with my good buddy @TRDguyKC and had a blast in the snow ripping around some local trails we always run.

Definitely noticable in loss of power and have to take it slow on the highway but no real need for re-gear.
it would definitely be nice though and have plans on it before the end of the year.

Can’t believe I’m just finding this. I think we were in the same area during that snow storm. Truck looks great! I’d like to check out your firewall tub job sometime. I’m in Tuc.
