Im buying a new Tacoma Off Road this week so I can get the rebate deal, then having it delivered to me next week. When it gets here, if it happens to have this dreaded vibration when breaking from 45-35, am I stuck with that truck or do you have a day to tell them you dont want it? thanks'

Ask your salesman, they should have a policy. Also the probability you will have it is very low. Don't let TW freak you out.

edit: I've ordered 3 new Tacomas, 2 2gen 1 3gen, all from an out of state dealer and I didn't drive them until I had already purchased them. I've zero problems with any of them and put about 100k on them.

Don't sign anything until you test drive. But the braking vibration goes away by itself for a lot of people. Something about unbalanced tires.

Doubtful you will have any problems, but that's what warranties are for. Relax and enjoy your truck.

Forget everything you read here, clear your mind and enjoy the truck. Should you come across something that is not right you will have a warranty. I got mine as a dealer transfer and had over 300 miles on it from them driving it. I dont know how it was driven but I don't have any problems.

I also had to have the dealer find and drive my truck from eastern TN. I had test driven a black 6MT Taco from their lot before i gave them the go ahead to find a Cement 6MT. I never signed any papers before the truck was on the lot, and they also still gave me the rebates from when i gave them the go ahead (they had expired by the time the truck was delivered and i signed the final papers).

Anyways, don't sweat the vibration. If you test drove an OR and liked it then thats what you should be expecting when your truck gets delivered. Enjoy it !!

My local dealer had to swap something with a dealer in TN to get the Cement Taco that I wanted. I put a deposit down, but they told me that if when it was delivered I didn't want it it would just become part of their inventory. Of course, I loved it and bought it. 3.5 weeks in and no issues. Not sure that I've notice the braking vibration.

look at the first page of threads and how many of them are actually problem related that arent stickies? now divide that number by 2 and thats probably how many issues you'll have with the truck.

There are very little engine/complaint issues on this forum from what ive seen. Go to other forums for other vehicles, and its just a constant flow of questions about problems, codes, complaints.

No offense but people on this forum are retarded. But that’s how we learn. We blow minor things up. Looks at how many people say they will trade in their truck because an app on the radio went away. They will make you think it’s the end of the world. Cool thing is there is a warranty.

Yeah no way I would take delivery of a truck or any vehicle without driving it first.
It's what I did with the great Truck I am currently sitting on the tailgate typing this message.
I like mine more everyday and I would bet you will too.
But hey if you don't like it just don't take delivery, it's never too late to walk away unless you sign that pile of paperwork

You can add any provision to a contract you want if the seller agrees it’s binding reduce your request to writing. Buyer reserves the right to inspect vehicle at time of delivery.
