No yours isnt an SR5. In fact i got an SR5 and had to ask on here what they had. So most of what you named is right, the SR 5 has painted trim, intermittent wipers, and a sliding rear window, however it does not add cruise or power windows/locks. But nice truck nonethelsess! I have the same silver color and am looking at buying a cap. What cap do you have there? Looks nice!

Thanks for the info. Strange as I do have a sliding back window.

The cap is a cheaper Sungtop, not sure of the model. I think they are necessary for a regular cab as I need somewhere to securely store things... although I really wish this camper had the "win-doors" so that I could more easily access the bed from the side.

Can you tell me more about these double cab cubbies? I have an SR5 RC, and it really doesn't add much. I did add the cruise control on my own, and it was actually very inexpensive and simple. It has been many years, but I think the dealership wanted $500+ and the parts were well under $200 online.

Random SR5 standard cab question: what's standard covering behind the BUCKET seats? Is there carpeting up the back wall, or a plastic fascia cover, or...?

I see from the above posts that the DC storage cubbies can be installed but what is there originally over the sheet metal? A portion of the back wall would be visible between the buckets.

I'm picking up a 2006 SR5 regular cab in a few weeks and I honestly forgot to see what was back there. I'm curious now.

Got it. Picked it up on Monday am, hauled ass 2900 miles home over the next 2.5 days. No AC so that sucked... and no cruise so that sucked... and was in 3rd gear a few times on I-80 trying to maintain going up mountains so that sucked... but I fucking love it anyway!

2006 SR5 4WD MT, 111k (now it has 114 k), everything but AC works, 3rd gen OR wheels and tires (not in love with them), new frame under warranty in 2017, recall leafs, 5th gen 4Runner front coilovers which level it out perfectly, Bilstein TRD OR rear shocks, hitch... that's about it.

Getting Husky liners coming, tint, CaliRaised LED fogs and bed D rings, and probably going to grab a set of OEM steelies off CL and install them and sell the OR rims.

I wrote a trip report if anyone cares. https://meefzah.smugmug.com/April-2019-RFF-US-trip/

All set up now... 5 steelies off CL for $80... replaced the spare with one of them since it was badly rusted... Caliraised LED pods in the factory fog locations... Husky liners... front bed D rings...opted not to do window tint (first vehicle I've ever owned without it but this truck has such an old man feel to it I can't bring myself to do it, plus I always have the windows down).

Lots of fun driving it around and rowing through the gears so far... dogs love it too.

SR5 RC was the best trim on the best configuration available for 2nd gens. SR5 was discontinued on RC when I bought mine.

I love your truck, but how can you stand having a stock stereo with no Bluetooth or iPod hookup?!?!

I bought black oem handles. I have rostra bluetooth that hooks up to stereo harness so it plays fon calls and iheart thru speakers. Also has grom audio usb aux ipod running off cd1 of the oem 6 disc. Usb is under left ac vent in blank panel, aux in 2009 lower dash panel and ipod cable in glove box. Added morimoto led fogs, factory cc, adj int wipers & wired up the 2012 sport blinker mirrors with sequential leds. RR view mirror is gentex 341 with compass/temp/homelink/map lights/auto dim. Added dc storage bins behind buckets with no loss of leg room. Added skewpt hood. Has 2016 black sunvisors. TRD tow hook, fr skid and gas tank skid. 1 piece oem v6 tow hitch. Meso dual color dome. Added steering wheel audio controls to the 2013 wheel. It has everything I need but not everything i want....yet.....like oem pwr inverter and rr locker, lol.

...thought maybe without mountains and off road, just sr5 and trd verbage centered under it or maybe just mountains off the top = still in original packaging. no sticker look still winning
