Just ask yourself what a TRD Pro has, that you can't get either with a Sport, OR, or even an SR5, then add some aftermarket stuff.

Then ask what you intend to do with it. Most of the Pros I see around town are obvious pavement princesses and I just want to slap the owners. But honestly, it's understandable, they are called off-road models, but don't have steel bumpers, winches and off-road capable tires.

Lockers and A-track come on lower models, and you can get very high end suspension for a couple grand at most.

Then you have the tires, bumpers, winches, skid plates etc... that NO Tacoma model comes with.

So, do you want to spend ~$50k on a truck that looks badass, or spend $10k+ less but have to do a little work (bumpers, winch, etc...) and get one that's more suitable for serious off-road?

Got mine for msrp + $795 for ceramic coating, in SoCal I think it is a good deal.

That's a good deal if it's a 2019. I paid 45.5 for a stock 19 pro and that's in the dc metro area where people pay $20 for a bud light draft.

Why is there always 1 non-Pro owner who gets triggered when they see the word "Pro" in a forum post, then feel the need to comment with salty like puns on why not to buy one?

So only people who have already made the purchase are allowed to have an opinion on the matter?

There was a Pro Tacoma sitting in the lot when I bought my 4Runner, and I passed on it because I didn't think the $50k they were asking was a fair price. I stated why I don't think it's a fair price (as the OP asked).

    Sorry-not-sorry you got triggered

Is that Toyota of Long Beach? A few months back they had 3 Pros sitting on the lot. All with $10k adjustments. I asked if he would deal one of them. The boss tells me "look, you seem like I nice guy with a beautiful family, I'll discount that white one for you by $5k"

What a swell guy. Go pound some LB sand.

Please don’t ever pay anything at MSRP. Spend a full day or weekend haggling and pitting one dealer against another. I was able to get my 18 off Road fully loaded with the premium tech package for 35k and the msrp was 41k. When I finally got the price to the point where I couldn’t go any lower, I asked if they could sweeten the deal by giving me a tint package as well.

Indeed. As is I dont really use that thing because it charges slow and makes my particular phone pretty hot. Its turned into more of a shelf for misc items.

Yeah, that's what I've been hearing about the charger equipped in the Tacoma. I've heard that the Supra will be wireless, but then of course.. it's a BMW. Regardless, I'm completely content with wired AA and AC :)

To me thats a total waste of time to spend a day or a weekend dedicated to haggling with dealers on a price to save a few bucks. My time is worth way more than that.

saving yourself 6grand, and probably another 2grand in interest is a waste of time? if it took you a day, 24hours, that would be 320.00 dollars an hour?

realistically it probably took like 3 or 4 hours to drive around and call dealerships.

You aren't going to get $6k off of a PRO. You can't compare an OR to a PRO buying experience. That is what the thread topic is.
