    Ok so I got a little more done on the Mini last night. went back out when I couldnt sleep and got more of the carpet in. Worked on the rear/back wall and around the bottle jack mount/sub. Also got the seat belts mounted back in. all thats left is the driver side side.. and driver footwell.

    Coverlay ordered! 111 shipped from Rock Auto.

    Going to see about ordering a new shifter boot and shifter as well.

    Drove the mini to work this morning. Carpet helped with noise tremendously! The stereo.. needs some work I think. Wasn't getting really good sound/bass from either the speakers or sub. I know it won't be like my Taco and I'm probably biased because of it.. but it's definitely lacking in the low end. I'll have to mess with it . otherwise.. a 5ch amp and sub/box might be in the near future .lol

    Got the carpet in pretty clean for my first time .pretty happy with it. I lucked out on installing the boot back in and cut the hole in the carpet perfectly so that the tunnel and carpet hold the boot in place .It looks so clean. Seats,belts, everything else is done and clean looking. I'll get pics soon .

    Nice! thanks man. I'm probably going with a custom boot. Either a Shift Boots or InFocus boot. Just need to decide on a pattern I want. they have tons to choose from. OR// I was thinking of trying a universal JDM Japan Rising Sun boot... but not sure how well it will fit. I'll probably go with a pattern or Bride pattern from either of those 2 companies.

    Going with this Getta Grip shifter..

    Gum with Red clamps. It'll sit low and cover most of the shifter shaft .then the custom boot will cover the rest.
